Our family has been making rosaries and jewelry for the last 20 years as a way to share our faith and promote the rosary.
This all started over 30 years ago when my sister, Tara, took me to a bead shop in Kansas City. She wanted me to pick out some beads for a necklace and bracelet she was making me. 2 years after receiving the jewelry from my sister, she died suddenly at the age of 16. Prior to her death, she had started making rosaries and developed a devotion to Our Blessed Mother. I inherited her supplies and although it took me a few years to start Through The Grapevine, I have been making rosaries and Catholic themed jewelry in her memory. Like Tara, I like to keep things simple, beautiful and meaningful.
